Elder-ssage™ - The Art and Science of Massage for the Aging Adult

This activity will provide the registered nurse with a greater understanding of the physical, social, and emotional benefits of massage therapy for the aging adult and how to incorporate massage into daily care routines.  The nurse will be able to identify potential patients/clients in her workplace setting who would benefit from massage therapy, identify medical considerations and contraindications and make appropriate referrals for massage.
