The Individual Activity Workshop: Uncovering the Mysteries of the CNE Activity is designed to introduce the organization newly interested in providing continuing nursing education to the process of developing single, individual activities based on sound educational design. The workshop will introduce participants to the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC COA) and TNA criteria and guidelines for continuing nursing education; the revised single, individual activity application tool; and the application process. This activity is designed for the novice to CNE.
Commercial Interest organizations are ineligible to submit individual activity applications. A Commercial Interest is any entity either producing, marketing, re-selling, or distributing healthcare goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients or that is owned or controlled by an entity that produces, markets, re-sells, or distributes healthcare goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients.
7.0 Contact Hours will be awarded to participants who successfully complete the activity. Successful completion includes signing-in, attending the entire activity, and submitting a "Contact Hour Request Form" and activity evaluation at the conclusion of the activity.
Registration for the workshop is $250 per person for TNA members and $300 for non-members.
Lunch and a workshop manual are included. As seating is limited, early registration is encouraged. Download a registration form with complete details or register online by clicking above. For questions, please call (512) 452-0645, ext 3, or email cne@texasnurses.org.
