The goal of the Test Texas HIV Coalition Summit is to enhance the ability of health care providers to integrate routine HIV testing in public health, emergency and primary care settings.
Additional Info: We are planning an exciting program with vital information and knowledgeable speakers – featuring Dr. Bernard Branson, Associate Director for Laboratory Diagnostics in the Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention at the CDC - that cover a wide array of issues one may encounter when implementing routine HIV testing.
This is a FREE event open to ALL interested health care providers, so we are anticipating participation and representation of various health care agencies from around the state. Join us to learn, meet and network with other providers that are in various stages of implementing routine testing. Come discover how and why your facility and patients may benefit from incorporating routine HIV testing into the medical care encounter.
Continuing education credits are available for nurses, physicians, social workers and other specialties. Information on credit hours is available at conference website via www.TestTexasHIV.org.
