What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit and debit cards for product purchases. For member dues, we accept Visa and MasterCard.
Why was my transaction declined?
Your transaction was declined because your card issuer chose not to approve it. Transactions are approved or declined solely at the discretion of the card issuer. Contact your card issuer for more information. Also, see below.
Can you tell me the specific reason that my transaction was declined?
No. That information is not typically available to a merchant. However, these are some common reasons for problems:<
• You entered an incorrect expiration date. Some transactions will approve if the expiration date is entered incorrectly, but many won’t.
• The billing address you entered does not match the card issuer’s records. Again, some will go through with incorrect information, but many won’t.
• The transaction is not consistent with your normal purchasing habits. Each issuer has its own security policies regarding card-not-present transactions, and some are more stringent that others.
• You are not authorized to make this type of transaction. Most state and many corporate cards have limitations as to what different people are allowed to purchase with them. You may need to contact an administrator or card issuer to get approval for a specific transaction.
• Your card is over its credit limit.
• You have a business card and the bill has not been paid.
What are my shipping options?
We ship most orders UPS Ground. (See shipping rates.) That can take several days, so if you need expedited shipping, contact us.
Can you Ship to a P.O. Box?
No. We cannot ship to a P.O. box.
How soon will my order be shipped?
In most instances, the business day after the order is received. Occasionally, however, we will be back-ordered. We try to keep the store updated when there will be a significant delay in fulfilling the order.
Do you accept purchase orders?
Yes, and no. We accept PO's from governmental entities and large institutions, like hospitals. However, you will need to call us at 800-862-2022 ext. 136 or fax your PO to 512-452-0648 to place the order.
Can I place an order online and then be billed for it?
No. You may place an order for invoice by phone (800-862-2022 ext. 136) or by submitting a printed order form and a purchase order. They can be faxed to 512-452-0648 or mailed to 7600 Burnet Rd., Suite 440, Austin, TX 78757.
Can I make a tax-exempt purchase online?
No. Please contact us at 800-862-2022 ext. 136 for tax-exempt purchases.
My order was incorrectly filled. What should I do?
Contact us immediately, either by phone (800-862-2022 ext. 136) or by e-mail. Please tell us what you ordered, what you received, when you ordered it and, if possible, provide an order number. When contacting us by email, do not include sensitive information, like a credit card number. We will address the problem as soon as possible.
I ordered the wrong product. What should I do?
Contact us immediately at 800-862-2022 ext. 136 or by e-mail. We recommend that you contact us by phone.
If you contact immediately after the order, we may be able to correct it and adjust any differences in price so that you get what you wanted. If you don't realize you ordered the wrong product until it's delivered, we can only correct the situation when we receive the mistaken product back or you pay for the correct product. In most cases, we will refund the price of the mistaken product, less shipping, when we receive it back undamaged.
I live outside of Texas. Do I have to pay sales tax?
No. In accordance with Texas law, we only charge sales tax on in-state orders.
