Improving Transitions of Care through Enhanced Palliative Nursing, Ethics, and Jurisprudence

 

Enhancing the knowledge and skill of the palliative/hospice Registered Nurse in the area of end-of-life team decisions and planning, by addressing appropriate transitions of care, ethics, and jurisprudence, in an effort to facilitate an increased working knowledge and understanding of palliative/end-of-life care, as evidenced by participation in discussion/role play, self-reporting on evaluation tool, completion of 3 month follow up survey.

 

This course will incorporate the Texas mandated CNE for Nursing Ethics and Jurisprudence.
