The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) invites you to participate in a workshop to enhance strategy development for Zika virus risk reduction and integrated vector management and control throughout the state of Texas. The goals of this event are to: bring together local and regional stakeholders; identify statewide gaps; unify as a state to address our response to a potential Zika virus disease (ZVD) outbreak; and discuss ways to increase educational outreach via multi-media platforms for Zika virus and other Arboviral awareness throughout the state. The end objective is to continue the strategic planning process using the Task Force integrated vector concept.

Critical to a successful event is the participation by local and regional health departments, emergency management, blood banks, and other relevant stakeholders.
