Observer Registration Fee: $100.00, covers reception on Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday and materials. You do not have to login to register for this event. Seating is limited so early registration is encouraged.
Come to Austin and engage with members, delegates and elected leaders in conversations that will affect the state organization, local districts and Texas nurses.
As an observer you may participate in the informal sessions of the House of Delegates including the Friday evening activities. TNA will host an issues forum to review proposed bylaws amendments and listen to our 2017 candidates present their platforms sharing how they will support the Mission, Vision and Strategic Objectives of the Association.
Immediately following the forum candidates will be available in the campaign area so that you can visit with them and learn more about what they will bring to a leadership role within TNA. During this campaign time there will be heavy hors d'oeuvres, coffee, tea, water and a cash bar available.
On Saturday there will be a networking breakfast for all attendees and credentialed delegates and candidates will continue their campaigning during this time.
Delegates and observers will enjoy a guest speaker to launch Starting Conversations that Matter followed by an interactive group session and a presentation from Marla Weston, PhD, RN, Chief Executive Officer of the ANA Enterprise.
Following Dr. Weston's presentation and lunch you will be seated in the observers area to watch the 2017 House of Delegates Business Session which includes reports from the Texas Nurses Association's President, Treasurer, Policy Council and Governmental Affairs Committee as well as the presentation and adoption of proposed bylaws amendments and the installation of new officers.
