Associate Program Director
NACES Plus Foundation, an affiliate of the Texas Nurses Association, is seeking an Associate Program Director to direct the nurse aide testing process in assigned states. The Associate Program Director will be responsible for recruiting, contracting with and orienting nurse aide evaluators, managing the testing process utilizing the evaluators, and managing the relationship with regional testing centers. In addition, this position is responsible for ensuring compliance with state contracts, interacting with representatives from the State Board of Nursing and Department of Health for assigned states, and may be involved with contract negotiations.
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with at least two years management experience required.
Training experience, including program development, ability to create presentation materials and the ability to present to a large group required.
Intermediate skills in MS Office, including PowerPoint required.
We are seeking a self-starter with strong communication, organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to travel overnight and out-of-state up to 20% of the time required.
BSN and experience in program management and database management preferred.

The Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation Service (NACES) coordinates and conducts the testing of nurse aide candidates who work in long-term care facilities. NACES currently provides nurse aide certification testing in nine states.
