|Resources: Website Launch|
Logging In for the First Time
1. On the front page, you will see an option to log in. You do not have to log in to explore the public-facing parts of the website.
2. To access the members-only sections, you will need to log-in. Your temporary user name is your RN license number and the password is “tna”.
3. After logging in, you can change your user name and/or password by clicking “Manage Profile” in the box on the right top of the member profile page, then clicking “Edit Bio” in the Information & Settings icon that appears on the Manage Profile page.
Exploring New Website Features
On the members’ side of the website, there are many new and exciting features. For example, groups (similar to Facebook pages) will allow our committees and others to share news, event information, photos, and files. Forums will permit us to expand our grassroots outreach and engage in conversations about nursing issues. There are even ways to host member blogs, send emails, and instant message. Check out our guide to the members-only website features!
But Wait... Not Quite Yet!
Feel free to explore the member-only side of website, but don’t be surprised that some features are not turned on or are not yet populated. For now, we want to be sure the public-facing portion of the website works well and that we have your member information correct. Soon, we will jump start the member-only features with some select member groups. Want to step up to volunteer to among the first groups? Let us know!
What About District Pages?
We are happy to work with you to establish District pages on our new website. Just email Adam Wasch in TNA’s Communications Department to get started: firstname.lastname@example.org. Existing District pages that are hosted elsewhere on the web are not affected by our new website.
Got a Burning Question or Suggestion?
You’re the whole reason we have a site, so of course we want your feedback. Call or email us. Why not try the website’s new “Contact Form” (link at top of page).
