This full day workshop is for current Approved Provider Units or organizations in the process of becoming an Approved Provider Unit. The content of the workshop is designed to familiarize Primary Nurse Planners with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and TNA’s criteria for the establishment or continuation of an Approved Provider Unit. The following will be covered: detailed overview of the ANCC/TNA criteria (structural capacity, education design process, & quality outcomes), application tools, processes, annual reports, primary nurse planner’s roles and responsibilities and introduction to the Nurses Activity Reporting System (NARS).
Target Groups:
· Novice to Advanced beginner Primary nurse planners
· Nurses interesting in becoming Primary Nurse Planner
· Administrative support personnel for approved provider units
Cost:
$275 Member/$350 Non-Member
CE Offered:
Participants successfully completing this workshop will be awarded 7.0 contact hours (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Texas Nurses Association/Foundation Provider Unit is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
