The pandemic and our understanding of the science of COVID-19 is fast-evolving, and evidence changes regularly. This flood of information and rapidly moving data can breed the viral spread of rumors. A global, instantaneous information ecosystem has created an environment in which truth and fiction can be hard to discern. Join us as we talk about the actions nurses can take to verify sources, practice #InfoHygiene, and be on the frontline of truth.

Presenter: Monica J. Hughes, MSN, RN, NE-BC, CNE

The Nurse Talks Empowerment Series is designed to bring diverse groups of nurses together to engage in thoughtful conversation about important topics. Nurse Talks sessions are live webinars viewed with other nurses. The Virtual Nurse Talks sessions are live webinars viewed with other nurses.  After the short presentation and Q&A session, break out room facilitators will lead discussions with nurses in attendance and send the feedback to TNA.
