The mission of Texas Nurses Foundation is to improve the health of Texans through charitable initiatives including those that advance nursing practice, education, research and leadership. The Foundation is a way for nurses to pursue their interests and serve Texans through innovative work. Our award-winning programs have been used by hundreds of thousands of nurses in Texas and across the United States.
Proceeds from charitable gifts are administered by TNF to support activities that promote health care by enhancing the art and science of nursing. The Texas Nurses Foundation funds a variety of activities including grants for nurses, Texas Team, nursing-related research and, the largest TNF program, the Texas Peer Assistance Program for Nurses.

Nurse Loan Repayment Assistance Program
The Nurse Loan Repayment Assistance Program, through the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, is open to applications from licensed nurses who have been working as a nurse in Texas for at least one year, and are an LVN, RN, or APRN.
