Apply for a Committee

Much of the work of the Texas Nurses Association is done through committees. The committees of the Policy Council focus on a specific policy issue, conducting environmental scans and research, and ultimately making recommendations to the Policy Council. Other committees may look at broader topics such as practice.

Join the Media Bureau

The Texas Nurses Association receives numerous calls on a variety of nursing and health care issues from reporters from around the state. Often they would like to talk with/film a nurse in their local area.

To apply to the Media Bureau, please email your name, areas of expertise, contact information, and any experience speaking with reporters to tna@texasnurses.org with the subject line "Media Bureau."
