2017 Legislative Session: A Nursing Perspective

Join nurses from all across the area to learn about Texas' nursing-specific legislation from TNA Governmental Affairs Director Andrew Cates, JD. An overview of the general political and legislative landscape during the 85th Texas Legislative Session will be given, including the outcome of nursing-specific legislation. A "Question and Answer" session will follow Mr. Cates' presentation. There will be a brief opportunity to meet the TNA District 1 (El Paso and surrounding Texas counties) officers and board members and to find out how to get involved and make your voice heard.

6:00 PM to 6:15 PM - Welcome by TNA District 1 President

6:15 PM to 7:15 PM - Mr. Cates' Presentation

7:15 PM to 7:30 PM - Question and Answer Session

Tickets are $10 per person for Members/Non-Members/Students

Texas Nurses Association/Foundation Accredited Provider Unit is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.  Upon successful completion, this continuing nursing education (CNE) activity will award 1.0 contact hours
