Work at TNA

“What I enjoy most about working for Texas Nurses Association is knowing that my efforts help nurses improve the overall health of the average Texan.” – James G.

The Texas Nurses Association is the voice for nurses in Texas. Along with the Texas Nurses Foundation, TNA provides a wide array of member services, including continuing education, practice protection, the member helpline, weekly e-newsletters with practice tips and the quarterly Texas Nursing magazine. TNA also works on legislation, such as the Texas Nursing Practice Act, for the support of nursing statewide. TNF and the Texas Peer Assistance Program for Nurses help make nursing a stronger profession by supporting individual nurses.

  • TNA: a member organization that collaborates with all segments of the nursing practice to carry out our mission of empowering Texas nurses.
  • TNF: The Foundation is a way for nurses to pursue their interests and serve Texans through innovative work.
  • TPAPN: the program safeguards patients by providing early identification, support, monitoring, accountability, and advocacy to Texas nurses who have an identified substance use or mental health condition or related incident, so they may practice nursing safely.

Working under the TNA banner means working for the betterment of nurses, nursing, and the health of all Texans. Learn more about us and check out the job openings below.
