Led by Cheryl Gagne, Sc.D, Senior Associate and Peer Support Expert at the Center for Social Innovation (C4) C4 focuses on complex public health problems such as mental health and substance use disorders to help improve people's lives. Using state-of-the-art research and training they help organizations, like TPAPN, deepen the impact of their work. (www.center4si.com)

WORKSHOP CONTENT:
- Recovery from mental illness and/or substance use disorders-including a focus on multiple pathways of recovery and recovery support and networks
- Principles of peer support-including principles of self-determination, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and holistic approaches
- Practices of peer support-including motivational strategies, varieties of support, linking to services, supports, and networks
