COVID-19 changed the way the world works. The disruptions seen over the past few years have impacted every industry, and health care is no exception. Now is the time to ask ourselves: how do we move forward? As organizations reconsider the value of nursing and nurses, nurses have an opportunity to reimagine and reinvent what it means to be a nurse. Learn and workshop alongside likeminded peers, develop your leadership skills and take your place at the forefront of a changing world.

This workshop will introduce nurses to the process of foresight (a “systematic, multi-stepped process for discerning, analyzing, and acting on potential futures”) and provide an opportunity to begin imagining possible and preferred futures in practice, education, and policy. Attendees will learn about how foresight informs innovation and about opportunities to engage with American Nurses Association in building a culture of innovation across the profession.

The Sheraton Georgetown Austin Hotel & Conference Center has offered a room rate of $155++ for conference attendees.  Please reserve your room no later than June 2, 2022.  Rates are available between June 22-26 if you’d like to extend your stay.  Hotel reservations may be made online or by calling 1-800-477-3340.
