The pandemic has brought a focus to the physical and psychological needs of the healthcare workforce. Many are surprised to learn how frequently violence and threats of violence occur in healthcare settings.  Nurses should not be deterred from the goal of making these incidents Never Events.  It’s time to talk about solutions to help decrease the risk of both physical and psychological injury in the workplace.
