This educational experience equips LVNs with the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to become effective advocates for the nursing profession and patient care. Participants will explore how professional responsibility, ethical practice, and public policy intersect to shape the future of healthcare in Texas and beyond. Through guided discussion, reflection, and collaborative learning, attendees will gain insight into how nursing policy is developed, how laws are passed, and how LVN voices can influence decision-making at the local and national levels. Additionally, TNA’s Director of Government Affairs, Jack Frazee, will highlight key legislative priorities and emerging issues impacting vocational nursing. Learners will then engage with peers in facilitated small-group conversations to examine real-world challenges, identify advocacy opportunities, and develop personalized action plans. Interactive polling and live discussion will further encourage participation and shared learning throughout the program.
