The Approved Provider Workshop is designed to familiarize Primary Nurse Planners with the process for applying the 2015 American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and TNA’s criteria for the establishment or continuation of an Approved Provider Unit. This workshop is designed for those who have met the criteria to become an Approved Provider Unit and have experience in the continuing nursing education (CNE) process.

The Approved Provider Workshop will familiarize Primary Nurse Planners with the process associated with interpreting and applying the 2015 American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC COA) and TNA criteria to their organizations in an effort to become an Approved Provider of continuing nursing education (CNE) or renew their current status. The workshop will introduce participants to the Approved Provider application tool, the activity documentation tool, and the approval process. This activity is designed for those who have experience in the CNE process.
