A year after COVID-19 began its rampage on American soil, there is much uncertainty about the long-term effects of the disease. Nurses have been the heroes in the battle against this deadly virus! To win the war, nurses must be equipped with the knowledge and tools to help patients, families, and communities manage the disease for the “long haul.” Understanding the common symptoms and treatments of long haul COVID-19 will help empower nurses to provide the care and support needed for patients and families to recover from the disease. Participants can earn free CNE.
