TeamSTEPPS® is an evidence-based program aimed at optimizing performance among teams of health care professionals to enable them to respond quickly and effectively to whatever situations arise.

Desired Learning Outcome Statement: Registered Nurses will increase their knowledge by actively participating in the discussion about tools and best practice strategies in communication and teamwork between patients, nurses, physicians and other healthcare providers, which will result in improved patient satisfaction, better patient outcomes and interdisciplinary/interprofessional team effectiveness. They will indicate their intent to change practice on their post activity evaluation tool.

You must be present for the entire presentation to obtain credit. This activity provides 4.0 CNE contact hours.
