This workshop covers the Nursing Peer Review Law and BON rules on incident-based and safe harbor nursing peer review. Topics include mandatory reporting obligations, due process protections, a just culture approach to nursing practice errors, and peer review committee tools used to evaluate nursing practice and safe harbor requests. This workshop meets the BON requirements for nursing jurisprudence and ethics CNE. Lunch will be included and attendees will receive 6.0 contact hours.

Cancellations will be honored if a written request is received at Texas Nurses Association at least two weeks prior to the activity. A $25 processing fee will be deducted from each registrant’s refund. Send written request to cne@texasnurses.org.
